Maikoot Limited provides FDM and SLA/resin 3D printing for prototypes, functional components, replacement parts, jigs, fixtures and small production runs.
We review the file, intended use, material, quantity and finish before recommending a suitable production route.
Reliable printing starts with the application. We review geometry, fit, operating environment, quantity and required finish before selecting the process, material, orientation and support strategy.
You can send a finished file, an early model or simply the information you have. Where design changes are required, CAD modification or product development can be quoted separately.
Suitable for many functional prototypes, brackets, enclosures, jigs, fixtures, replacement parts and larger components.
Useful for fine details, smoother surfaces, small complex parts, clear components and selected functional resin applications.
You do not need to choose the technology before contacting us. We recommend a route after reviewing the part and intended use.
Routine FDM support removal is included with every FDM order.
Shown before support removal. SLA/resin orders include ordinary support removal, washing and curing.
Parts for fit, handling, assembly and practical function checks.
One-off or obsolete non-safety-critical components developed from an approved file or project route.
Tools for positioning, holding, alignment, assembly, potting, inspection and repeat work.
Fitted components created around equipment, fixing points and practical interfaces.
TPU, fibre-reinforced materials, heat-resistant options and selected functional resins where suitable.
Repeat components, early product runs, bridge production and specialist low-volume requirements.
Material choice depends on heat, UV exposure, chemicals, flexibility, stiffness, impact, appearance and required service life. We can recommend a practical starting point after reviewing the application.
The Materials & Capabilities page lists the current FDM and resin options in more detail.
We support one-off prints, prototype cycles and low-volume production. For repeat orders, the approved revision, material, finish, quantity and packaging can be agreed before production begins.
Where appropriate, a first article or sample can be reviewed before the full batch is produced.
FDM orders include ordinary removal from the build plate and routine support removal. SLA/resin orders include ordinary support removal, washing and curing.
More involved sanding, filling, painting, polishing, threaded inserts and straightforward assembly can be added where agreed.
A multi-part printed assembly developed for practical handling and use.
A compact replacement part produced in a material suited to its environment.
A set of printed supports produced for repeat use in a practical application.
FDM and SLA/resin orders carry a £15* setup fee (£18 including VAT), plus the printing cost. The setup fee is waived when the eligible printing subtotal reaches £149.70* (£179.64 including VAT).
Additional post-processing, insert fitting and basic assembly start from £20* (£24 including VAT).
Final price depends on the file, process, material, part size, geometry, print time, orientation, supports, quantity and finish.
* Prices marked with an asterisk exclude VAT.
Share what you have, the quantity required and what the part needs to do. We will review the information and confirm the most practical production route and final quotation.
